Lalitkumar Patel

Clinical Experience: Lalit qualified in 1986 from UCH Dental School in London and he has been the principal at Field End Dental Clinic from 1990. He is committed to continuing professional development through post-graduate education, a Foundation dentist trainer from 2003 till present. He enjoys teaching and mentoring young dentists to help them on their journey. Provide them a friendly and supportive environment to enhance their dental skills without any pressure. His interests include implants (completed a yearlong course with Hilt Tatum) and endodontics.

Membership of Professional Organizations: Ealing Acton & Chiswick BDA, Benevolent Fund Representative 2004/2005, Hillingdon LDC chairman 2019. FGDP, CODE, Asian Odonatological Society.

Interests: Outside Dentistry he has been the past president of the Lions Club of Mill Hill, having collected monies for charitable projects for disabled children and Tsunami victims in Sri Lanka, Lions District Dentaid Officer 2006, Work for CRISIS at Christmas every year as a dentist treating the homeless. Plays badminton keen on fitness and cricket.

Salman Pirmohamed

Dentist | GDC No: 265134

Qualified from King’s College London and has worked in both hospital and practice settings. He spent a year training at the prestigious Eastman Dental hospital managing complex cases in the Restorative Department after which he returned to Field End Dental Clinic.  He has completed further training in white fillings, whitening, invisalign and cosmetic dentistry and is very passionate about creating new smiles for our patients. Salman’s aim is to create a welcoming environment at the practice where patients feel comfortable and relaxed. Outside of work you’ll usually find him at the takeaway down the road!

Aekta Mistry

Dentist | GDC No: 244774

Aekta qualified as a dentist from Kings College London in 2013. After completion of her vocational training year, she underwent hospital training as a senior house officer in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Aekta’s calm and gentle approach together with her training in conscious sedation allows her to regularly manage anxious patients at the practice.
She has further undertaken a course in Advanced Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry with Aspire Dental Academy in London. She holds a keen interest in aesthetic work and went on to study the art of direct anterior restorations (white fillings) in Italy with the world-renowned Dr Lorenzo Vanini.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys travelling, yoga and acrylic painting.

Aliya Pirmohamed

Dentist 

Aliya qualified from the University of Sheffield. Since graduating, she has practiced dentistry in a variety of settings including community dental services as well as in a Maxillofacial unit as a dental core trainee. Her experiences have enabled her to manage dental trauma and difficult extractions in patients from wide-ranging backgrounds whilst tailoring treatment to their individual needs.

Aliya enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is currently completing further training in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. She is motivated to continue learning in order to constantly improve her skills.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring and travelling around the world as well as giving her time back to her local community in voluntary endeavours.

Sharon Edwards

Nurse | GDC No: 127460

Sharon has been working at the practice since 2005 (and has been a registered dental nurse since 2008.) She has been the head dental nurse for the last 14 years in the practice.

She is a well organized and efficient nurse assisting dentists with all types of general dentistry in the practice.
She enjoys spending time with her family especially her puppy. 

Yam Gurung

Nurse |GDC No: 180832

Yam is one of our committed nurses in the practice, working closely with Dr Lalit Patel for the last 11 years. Yam is a qualified seditionist nurse and is confident in supporting the dentists throughout the sedation process. She is also well trained with a good knowledge in dental implants, and regularly assists dentists during implant care and placement. Outside of dentistry, Yam loves to be outdoors and enjoys hiking.

Kanchan Gurung

Nurse |GDC No: 180632


Kanchan is one our dedicated qualified nurses and has been part of our dental team for the last 11 years. She has also completed a Prevention in Practice course and is a key member in the practice promoting oral health to young adults and regularly applies fluoride varnish on young children.

In her free time, Kanchan enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family

When I’m not being a self-confessed ‘dental-geek’ I enjoy keeping fit and escaping to the outdoors and over the years I have completed half marathons, tried my hand at triathlons and crossfit but I have found my true passion in mountain hiking and scrambling.

Mihaela Popescu

Nurse |GDC No: 297294

Mihaela joined the practice two years ago as a trainee dental nurse, and is now fully qualified dental nurse.She is well trained in assisting in all aspects of dental care, and has a good knowledge and experience in facilitating dental implant placement. Since qualifying she has been eager to learn; she has completed a rubber dam course and is currently completing her radiography course. She is extremely dedicated, hard working and loves to improve!

Outside of dentistry she likes to travel, spend time with family and catch up on her favourite shows!

Amrit Chouhan

Dental Hygienist | GDC No: 121515

Amrit qualified as a dental hygiene therapist from Kings College London. She has been one of our staple hygienists in the practice since 2013. Amrit has a particular interest in treating nervous patients.

Amrits hobbies include meditation, hiking and exploring alternative therapies for stress management.

Chandani Patel

Dental Hygienist | GDC No: 260536

Chandani qualified as a hygienist from University of Essex in 2015 she currently works at the practice on Thursdays and enjoys seeing patients of all ages for hygiene treatment. She is gentle yet thorough in her treatment and gives tailored advice on how to improve our patient’s oral health. In her spare time she enjoys keeping active and spending time socialising with friends and family. 

Heidi Medzavorian

Receptionist

Heidi is our leading receptionist at Field End Dental Clinic. She has been part of the team for the last 9 years.
Heidi is very well known by our patients and her absence is always noticed! She welcomes and greets everyone with a smile.
She loves socialising with friends and family, especially her two lovely granddaughters
